The Importance of Scripture memory

Today’s tip comes from the Bible. In Psalm 119:11 it says:

“Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.”

Today’s tip is this:
Grow in discernment by memorizing Scripture.

Treasuring God’s Word in your heart is best accomplished by memorizing His Word so it’s always there to treasure. As we spend more time thinking about, pondering, meditating, or treasuring God’s Word, it helps us grow in knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and Christ-likeness. So let’s get more of His Word in us today.
