Dwell In Love

We all want to find ways to make our lives better. If you doubt that check out the self-help shelves or lists in a bookstore. In Psalm 84:10 we see the thought that one of the psalmists had about how to accomplish this:

“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

This idea that life is better in God’s presence is important for us to remember. Jesus called us to abide in Him and told us that apart from Him we can do nothing. Abiding in Him and His love is where we were designed to be.

That is why today’s tip is:

Dwell on and in God’s love for you.

Spending time thinking about and appreciating God and His deep love for us, leads us to be drawn to abide more in Him, and as the psalmist said being in His presence is “better than a thousand outside.”
